The Sailing members of VMSS have settled on the following dates for the Winter and Spring sailing days at Beaver Lake.

Beaver Fever is coming up fast now. We thought we had our manpower about set but the person who was going to run our rescue boat for the weekend has pulled up with some serious health issues that will prevent them from helping. So here is the request. We need someone to help out for both Saturday and Sunday. Generally there isn't a lot to do but if we need a boat to be recovered that is the primary duty. You don't have to be good at rowing as we will have the electric motor on and it makes it quicker and easier to do all of this stuff. The other duty that might pop up is to reset a few marks if the wind moves around too much and also to run around at the end of the day and recover the marks. Looking for someone from around 9:30 Saturday to the end of the day which will be about 4:00 and again on Sunday except we will end most likely around 2:00.
ReplyDeleteThe bonus for doing this is that we will invite you and your significant other to have dinner on Saturday night with the sailors and then also one of the nifty and highly collectible event T shirts with the new for this year logo emblazoned on it.
